First Friday Art Walk Delray Beach, Art Connect Palm Beach, October 3, 2025
I made my Delray Beach art debut at the First Friday Art Walk on Oct 3 at the Cornell Art Museum with Art Connect Palm Beach! It was especially exciting exhibiting in the museum (originally it was outdoors) and new friends supporting me.

She recently joined the Art Connect Palm Beach art group who will host a popup exhibit in front of the Cornell Art Museum In downtown Delray for the First Friday Art Walk.
Sustainable Art By Janet Gervers Using Corks + Clothes

You can use creativity with materials you might have thrown to make new art is a worthwhile endeavor and adventure.
I started experimenting with recycled sustainable art back in 2016. As an avid wine drinker, I found out that the world cork supply was dwindling.
I stated gluing corks to canvases and painting both the canvas and corks.
While I started in a restrained way, I went all out with a big buildup of corks that made a 3D sculptural painting with brilliant strokes and splashes of reds, oranges and yellow.
This culmination or corks on canvas led to the painting, Orange Delight, that was exhibited in 2019 in Santa Monica, CA.in the Spectrum Exhibit at bG Gallery.

My painting, It’s Golden has been selected for the echibit and will be displayed with art in the yellow spectrum.
The Spectrum exhibit features art that focuses on one color in the sprectrum.

Last year was my first foray into Miami Art Basel week, with my art and the Spectrum Art Fair. I was part of a group of international artists at in the Artbox booth from Zurich, Switzerland. This year my art is in the Red Dot Art Fair in the Gato Gordo Gallery, Miami booth.

bG Live Nights: Janet Gervers Presents Her Art
BG live nights takes place on Thursday, August 8 from 8 to 10 PM at BG Gallery in Bergamont station, Santa Monica CA.
The Thursday night event, Curated by Los Angeles, Gallerist, Mark Bade, includes four artists and a musician, where artists talk about their art and a musician plays their music. Janet Gervers is one of the four artists in the lineup on August 8.
She will present for three works of art, two from her recent gold series and one from her previous wave series.
Art in Spectrum Gestalt Exhibit at bG Gallery
Art by Janet Gervers, Santa Monica Abstract Artist, will be exhibited in the Spectrum Gestalt annual juried art show for the fourth time, at bG Gallery this year from July 20 to August 3, 2024. My art was previously exhibited in 2019, 2021, and 2023.

I’m really excited that I was awarded a grant, in fact the first grant that I’ve applied for from the Center for Cultural Innovation in California in January 2024. The grant is for professional development as an artist. I am currently in an art Workshop from Shoebox Lab in Los Angeles, located in The Brewery historic building in downtown Los Angeles.

Janet Gervers Art at Red Dot Miami
Janet A Gervers, Santa Monica CA, artist exhibited her art in the Red Dot Art Fair during Miami Art Basel Week. Her marker art, “King Kitty” was exhibited in the Gato Gordo Gallery from Miami, FL in the international art fair in December 2024.
The Red Dot Art Fair features galleries from across the globe in the artistic Wynwood neighborhood at the Mana Wynwood convention center. It also hosts the Spectrum Art Fair, one that Janet exhibited in the previous year.
Thousands of international art enthusiasts, art collectors and gallery owners visit both art fairs under one roof in this vibrant this one week event. Wynwood is a creative art hub in Miami with everything imaginable painted in a beautiful way that invites attention and curiousity.
Other Art Miami Week locations are in Downtown Miami, such as the Context and Art Miami fairs, while South Beach hosts Art Basel and other top notch art fairs, too many to count. It’s a must attend annual event with the top artists in the world.
